Outdoor Boudoir shot in May

It's wet and cold outside and this time of the year it's easy to forget about how nice Sweden can be during spring and summer! I though I should remind you about that with a couple of photos from an outdoor boudoir shot in May. I long for the time when one can run in the grass without shoes and lay down on the ground!

Wedding at Krägga Herrgård

The high season for weddings is over but that doesn't mean I have a lot of time off. On the contrary, I spend my time post processing tons of photos and deliver wedding albums every week! Unfortunately, I am way behind on blogging but now when I have finished Louise' and Saman's photos from their wedding at Krägga Herrgård I can finally post "some" of my favourite photos from their day. The first photo of Louise if definately on my top favourite list of bride portraits over the years, the light and her expression is just gorgeous and I love it! I also love her rings from Artinians jewerelly, the dress from KiK and I could go on like that regarding many details from this wedding!

Family time!

On Saturday night the sky was grey and rainy but when I woke up Sunday morning it was a perfect day for an outdoor family session! Fall is truly the best season for back lit portraits and the colours were amazing! But, after some biscuits we also had time to take some black and whites indoors.

Time for bed!

I have had a busy day with two photo shoots, hours and hours of work in front of the computer and I have delivered thank you cards to two wedding couples and an album to one of my couples who got married in August. So, now I am really tired and I think I should do just as this little girl did today during the photo session... go get my teddybear... right now he sits in the sofa waiting for me and my late evening cup of tea!

I looove autumn weddings when the air is clear and the colours are vibrant and very beautiful... just like this wedding couple! At first they didn't want me to post their photos but after they had seen their gallery they said they loved the photos so much that I could show my favourites here on the blog - and here they are!

Oscar - crying, sleeping, smiling!

To photograph a baby is a challenge every time because I never know in advance what will be on the agenda for the little model. Even if the parents have booked me it isn't as easy to book a perfect smile from a 3 month old baby. But yesterday, after some crying, whimpering and a 15 minutes nap Oscar gave us this absolutely infectious smile that made me melt! Anna and Christoffer, you have a really cute boy! But of course, that's probably no surprise for you because both of you also look drop dead gorgeous!

Wedding with SmallpigArt

Anna Roström at SmallpigArt is a very good friend and she is also one of my favourite colleagues when it comes to wedding photography! About a month ago I assisted her at one of her weddings and I also acted as her second shoter. The bride and groom was simply gorgeous - just look at them, they look like perfect top models! Of course you can find Anna's great photos here on her blog! But don't you think Anna is even cuter than the wedding couple in her shaggy bright pink hat I gave to her that day so she will match her 70-200 lens during the winter weddings to come :-)! Anna, I love you darling!

Unique wedding ring

I love white gold and diamonds and I love weddings, so what can be better than to come across a very unique and beautiful set of rings on a wedding shoot! I can't afford to buy jewellery every week (I wish!), but I do get to see a lot of beautiful things! These rings made my day last Saturday and they are hand made in Iran. I think they really are outstanding!

Poem for a wedding

Together we are

and the sun

The short poem above and on the second photo was printed on the stamp Viktoria and Christoffer used when they sent the booking agreement to me before their wedding. I love the meaning of the words and for me it definately symbolizes the love and future of this couple. I have just finalized the private web gallery with their photos and I look forward to see which ones are their favourites among the 475 pictures to choose from!

Congratulations to me and to Sara & Daniel!

Yesterday was a great day because it was not only my birthday but also the wedding day for Sara and Daniel! They live in Uppsala but got married in the garden at Tyresö castle in the presence of their 99 guests. Sara and Daniel, the hours in front of the TV paid off... you are both real top models and Sara, you are so naturally beautiful!

Secret September Wedding

Some of my wedding couples want to keep their privacy and that is of course something I always respect. Therefore I won't show you any portraits from this wedding (which is a pity because they are just gorgeous!) but what I can show you is some details from their amazing wedding. I just looove the bouquets and decorations from Melanders blommor!

Relaxed summer love - Jenny & Christer

Jenny and Christer had booked my smallest package but just days before their wedding Jenny called and said they wanted to upgrade to the next level. I was thrilled because after our pre booking meeting last year I had actually written "I think this is a fun couple to shoot" as a special notice in my calender and I was absolutely right! They got married in Dalarö and we found a perfect spot for the portraits close to where they held their reception, Dalarö Hotel.

Euro Accident and Carolina Klüft

Euro Accident is an insurance company specialized in accident insurances and has many athletes and artists among their clients as well as companies and organizations. They also have two very well known stars to promote them and the extremly successful Carolina Kluft is one of them. I have had the pleasure to take photos of her for Euro Accident and of course I want to share some of them with you. But, as usual nowadays, I do not have time right now to post a long blog entry so for now I just post this photos showing off her really intense and beautiful eyes! More will come later.

A little princess!

Yes, I do love colours and high contrasts but sometimes, for instance when I come across something cute, I might go for a really light and sheer style! And what do you see here below... yes, you're right... a baby princess!

Golden perfection at Grand Hôtel and Storkyrkan

When I left Viktoria and Christoffer last night I knew I had plenty of greats shots on my memory cards and I simply can't chose just one or two to post as a sneak preview as I said to the newly weds that I would. Therefore this preview post (more will come later!) show you both Mr & Mrs Malmer and some details from their gorgeous wedding day! I promise the rest of the photos are worth waiting for! Sneak peak No. 2 from Krägga Herrgård

I KNOW I should be doing other things right now (working with album design and layouts) but I suddenly got curious and had to look at the result from one of my two weddings 14 August. This is NOT the real blog post (it will come!) but I want to share these favourites with you!

Hallelujah - Katarina & Fredrik are married !

I have been to many, many weddings by now but I don't think I ever have heard such heavenly music as yesterday at the chapel at Ulriksdal castle! Unfortunately I forgot to write down the names of the singers but I can say that it was the best version of the song Hallelujah ever performed! But of course... it also was the most beautiful chapel, very nice guests, a cool car for the bride and groom to ride in, old details (the ribbon wrapped around the bouquet and the purse were worn by the bride's grand mother at her wedding ages ago), the best venue with very photo friendly surroundings (Såstaholm Gård) and of course the perfect bride and groom! Katarina and Fredrik, you are great!

Wedding dresses from Zelini

A few weeks ago I got an e-mail from one of my former clients Josefine and she told me that she recently has opended a new store for custom made wedding dresses, titanium rings and other accessories! Today I passed by the store at Torsgatan 36 in Stockholm (close to S:t Eriksplan) and had to take a few photos to show you and tell you the news. The store is open Tuesdays and Thursdays 17.30-19.00 and Saturdays 11.00-16.00 and you can also visit the internet shop at www.zelini.se.
